Billionaire taxman's wife quiet before investigators

Dian Anggraini, the wife of graft suspect Dhana Widyatmika, opted not to testify before Attorney General’s Office (AGO) investigators on Thursday.
"I came here [to the AGO] as a witness and I used my legal rights," Dian told reporters on Thursday.
"We respect the AGO's investigators summons, but for now we opt not to give any testimony as stipulated in the Criminal Procedures Code (KUHAP) article 168," Dhana’s lawyer Daniel Alfredo said.(direct speech)
The article allows someone who has a blood relationship or marital bond with a suspect not to testify.
Another Dhana lawyer, Reza Edwijanto, said that the decision to stay silent was initiated by the legal team, but refused to elaborate why. (inderect speech)
Reza said that Dian would comply with the AGO’s request should the office summon her again.
Dhana is a junior taxman who allegedly has billions of rupiah in numerous bank accounts, including those of his wife.
AGO named Dhana a graft suspect last month and has detained him in the AGO headquarters since last week.
